William T. Kriesel, CPA/PFS, CFP®/AEP® Client Centered

Registered Principal and Managing Member

I started my career in Public Accounting in January 1986, getting thrown into the middle of tax preparation a few weeks after completing my B.S. degree in accounting at LeMoyne College.

I spent the first 15 years of my professional life solely focused on tax and accounting services.  One of the tax areas that I became heavily involved in was estate tax and fringe benefit planning.

While working with business and individual clients in these areas, it became clear that they were looking for additional services from our C.P.A. firm. In 1998, a client of mine was put into an investment program that didn't meet their needs.  It was then that I decided I needed to form Diversified Capital Management, L.L.C.  Part of that process included becoming licensed to offer securities and insurance products. Since then, I have transitioned from performing accounting services to primarily providing financial planning services.

The majority of my time is now spent helping businesses establish appropriate retirement and benefit plans for their employees in a tax-efficient manner and helping individuals define and establish a plan to meet their life goals, whether they be short-term oriented for purchasing a house, establishing an appropriate investment portfolio or insuring against short term risks, or long term goals such as retirement and estate planning.

Bill is an investment advisor representative of Commonwealth Financial Network® and a Managing Member of Diversified Capital Management, L.L.C.

Before his role as one of the founding partners of Diversified Capital Management, L.L.C., Bill was the proprietor of his own accounting firm and had experience working within two other accounting firms locally. Bill is currently a partner in the tax department at Bowers & Company C.P.A.s, P.L.L.C. and the partner in charge of the financial planning subsidiary B&C Planning Services, L.L.C.  Bill is also a Managing Member of ETFidea, L.L.C. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from LeMoyne College and is a licensed C.P.A. in New York State.

Bill's practice areas include comprehensive financial planning, estate and retirement planning, insurance planning, investment planning, education planning, and business advisory services.

Kevin A. Visconti, CFP®

Registered Principal

I started my financial career after graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology.  Shortly after starting my career, a family health situation brought me back to Syracuse.  I was hired by Chase Bank in Manlius, which sponsored me to get my security license.  I followed a respected manager and mentor from Chase Bank to HSBC.  I increased my knowledge and financial planning skills with the vast resources at HSBC.  HSBC sold their upstate NY assets to First Niagara, where I continued to serve and help my clients.

My goal was always to join an independent company where my focus would remain on my client's needs.  A friend and colleague introduced me to Bill Kriesel and the team at Diversified Capital Management.  Diversified Capital Management was the right fit to continue my career.

Kevin is an investment advisor representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Before joining Diversified Capital Management, LLC, Kevin was a nine-year licensed representative in the local bank channel. Kevin graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a major in marketing.

Kevin has built his practice using a holistic approach to planning, including retirement, insurance, educational, and estate planning. He excels at understanding his client's goals and aims to position their assets to achieve them.

George C. Nardone, ChFC, AIF®

Registered Representative

George started his career as a financial advisor by realizing that a person can devastate their entire financial life by making only one or two uninformed decisions. His career then took him to a local brokerage firm, where he continued with Ameriprise Financial Services in Rochester, NY. After years spent with Key and HSBC Trust Departments, he decided to return and work with clients - individual and corporate - on an individual basis through his association with Diversified Capital Management in Syracuse, NY.

To aid in George’s quest to provide such necessary advice to individual and corporate clients, George has acquired securities licenses 7, 9, and 10 and NYS Insurance. George has also acquired the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation and regularly engages in many hours of continuing education annually.

In a career that spans over 30 years, George believes in giving back to the community. George has volunteered on the boards of many organizations. He was on the board of the CNY Arts (promoting art and culture in Central New York) and is currently serving on the board of Senior Housing through HUD as President of AHEPA National Housing Corporation based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
